linkding injector
linkding injector is a browser extension developed by Fivefold. It is a community extension for the self-hosted linkding bookmark service. This extension injects search results from the linkding bookmark service into search pages like Google and DuckDuckGo.
The main feature of linkding injector is that when searching on a search engine, the search term is also sent to your linkding instance, and the results are added in a new box in the sidebar next to the search engine results. It supports popular search engines such as Google, DuckDuckGo, SearX/SearXNG, Brave Search, and Kagi. The extension also has automatic light or dark theme detection.
To use linkding injector, you need to install the extension and configure it to connect to your linkding instance. You can do this by opening the extension options in the browser extension manager or following the link in the new linkding injector box on the search page of Google or DuckDuckGo. Once properly configured, linkding search results will appear in the right sidebar. If there are no search results, nothing will be displayed.
Please note that linkding injector requests permissions to all websites because the linkding instance URL is not known beforehand. However, it only accesses the data of the listed search engine websites.
